Verticals Weetangera Watto
Doing our bit to help.
From bushfires to a pandemic and everything in between, a lot of Aussies have been doing it tough recently. That’s why we donate $7 from each order to Beyond Blue, who do some really important work helping people come together to get better.
Got a great feature window? Flaunt it
Vertical Blinds are perfect for wide open spaces – large windows, sliding doors, you get the picture. They’re simple to operate and give you full coverage with a twist. What more can you want?
Please note that the actual width of the fabric will be approximately 35mm less than the overall blind width ordered. Nothing sneaky, this is just to allow for the brackets and operating components.
Maximum width: 3,587mm
Maximum height: 3,000mm
180 degrees of control
This is big. With Vertical Blinds, you get the ability to adjust the slats depending on the amount of light you want at particular times of day. Enjoy sunlight, privacy, and UV protection, all with a simple twist. Plus, our Vertical Blinds come in two different blade widths, so take your pick.
Affordable - not cheap and nasty
Vertical Blinds are a cost-effective window solution. They’ve got a clean, appealing look with minimal componentry, and that’s reflected in their price. If you want top-notch privacy and light protection without having to break the bank, our Vertical Blinds are the way to go.
If your living room has a nice big window or a sliding door, you want to make the most of it. Vertical Blinds are the best way of balancing all that lovely available natural sunlight with a bit of privacy. And let’s face it – no one wants TV glare, faded furniture, and pesky neighbours peeking into your home.
Our Vertical Blinds have a simple twist cord, which allows you to both swivel the blind slats and retract the blinds completely. It’s all in one easy mechanism – none of those awful dangling cords that you see on old Vertical Blinds.
All our Venetian Blinds are manufactured and assembled right here in our Australian factory. That means when you order, your blinds come directly from regional NSW – cutting out the middleman and allowing you to save up to 70% off retail prices. We’ve got a ton of fabric choices, so take a look.
We get it – some people are allergic to DIY. It’s a headache, you don’t have any power tools, and you don’t know what you’re doing. But guess what? You can do this, and we’re here to help.
We wrote all of our installation instructions ourselves – they’re by humans, for humans. There’s no ridiculous technical nonsense or impossible-to-understand diagrams. With their help, you’ll have your Vertical Blinds up on your windows in no time. Simply follow the videos below, or head to our Guides page to get some more in-depth info on how to measure and install your Vertical Blinds.

Frequently Asked Questions
We have a range of measuring and installation guides available on our Guides page. If you need help measuring, get in touch with us either by using our LiveChat feature (down at the bottom of the page) or by phone so that we can help further. It’s tough to give generalised answers to questions about measuring, because it’s not really a case of ‘one size fits all’. The best way to measure can depend on the material of your wall, whether your window has an architrave, and the individual look that you’re after, so best to get in touch.
When we receive your order, we pass it on to our factory. They get down to business manufacturing, and then we ship it off to you. We aim to have your Wonderlux products on your doorstep within 14 business days. The wait time for sample fabrics is slightly less.
To measure for your blinds, all you’ll need is a measuring tape. For installation, you’ll need a small handheld power drill, and potentially a ladder and someone to help you, depending on the height of your window.
A blockout fabric has an acrylic backing, which prevents light rays from being able to pass through the material. A light filter fabric does not have this backing and is woven slightly less tightly, meaning that some light is able to pass through. That’s why you get 0 visibility with a blockout fabric, while light filter fabric appears transparent.
Our Vertical Blinds are adjusted using a simple twist cord that hangs down the side channels. If you like, you can opt for a motorized headbox that lets you operate the blinds using a small handheld remote – it’s super cool, and super convenient.
